Our Philosophy
Art Experience is a unique studio environment where we believe art is vital to child development. With backgrounds in fine art, art education, and psychology, we tailor our approach to each student’s unique needs.
Our philosophy focuses on the creative process, not just the final piece. In our classes, students are taught to explore, experiment, and build confidence in their own ideas.
Beyond just technique, art teaches students how to make choices, and express themselves. We aim to cultivate not only artistic skill, but a strong sense of self and creative perspective.
In our classes, students:

Because art is often missing from California public school curricula, many students don’t receive structured training in the arts. Here, we assess each student using the CA State Board of Education visual art standards, then place them at the appropriate level to support their growth. Our approach ensures clear learning goals and measurable progress.
